Dad's catfish he caught using a 13 foot Okuma Surf rod on the beach of Lake Erie in October 2010.
Dad caught this Channel Catfish in the surf of Lake Erie close to Presque Isle in October 2010. He was made successful by using a 13 foot Okuma surf rod, a 4 ounce pyramid sinker and a couple of minnows. From cast to reel, it was only about a 3 minute… more »

Tom's caught this fat Cat
Tom reeled in this fat Flathead catfish about 1/4 mile south of the Robert C Byrd Lock and Dam on the Ohio River during an overnight catfishing trip in the Summer of 2008. I can't remember what he was using for bait, but I think it was chicken liver or… more »
